Flashy But No Flash

On a recent project for newly formed XIX Entertainment, we faced the challenging brief of constructing a holding page with a similar look and feel to a photography website, constructed in Adobe Flash.  Images would fill the entire screen and simply fade in and out.  Simple right?  Flash can do this sort of stuff without breaking a sweat, scaling to fit the screen being one of the strongest reasons for choosing this platform over a traditional HTML site.  There was just one complication…
